Welcome to the Edinburgh University Shotokan Karate Club.

We offer excellent professional tuition in traditional Shotokan Karate. We train four sessions a week including dedicated Kata and Kumite classes. Learn more about our club here. Training times and locations are here.


We will be at the Freshers Week Sports Fair on Wednesday the 12th and Thursday the 13th. You can also find us at the Martial Arts demonstration on Saturday the 3rd, which will take place at the Trust Upper Hall Gym (The Pleasance) and starts at 12pm. Our first training session will be on the following Wednesday (the 19th) at the usual time and place (7.30pm at St Leonards Gym 2).

After training we will be going to the Abbey. This is a great opportunity for newcomers to get to know club members, as well as have any questions about the club answered.
