NOTE - we have use of gym 3 from 17:30 on Tuesdays, sofolk showing up for the advanced class are welcome to show up early towarm up/train kata/etc.
Our club welcomes members at any level of experience, andmembership is available any time throughout the year. If you havestudied martial arts before speak to our Committeeto find out if your grade is transferable to our association.
Please note training times are subject to change out with theacademic calendar and during academic exam periods. Additionalinformation about seminars and competitions will beannounced nearer the time. Members are invited to join us at local andnational competitions and students can take part in inter-universitymatches.
Fees 2009-2010
The first two weeks training are free for new members - comealong and try it.
Semester fees cover tuition for all training hosted by the club(each semester is 15 weeks).

The following fees are mandatory costs which do not contribute tothe running of the EUSKC. Licence and grading costs are standard to anymartial arts club, and membership to the CSE is mandatory to any studentwho is attending a Edinburgh University sports club which makes use ofCSE facilities.
To partake in UKTKF grading, a student must have a valid UKTKF license at an annual cost of £25. This fee is to insure the student against serious injury received during training. These are available for purchase from the club's licencing officer. The grading fee for 2007-2008 is £20 per examination. Students are also expected to join the seminar with the grading Sensei at a cost of £5. These fees grant the student access to all five training sessions with Sensei Kawasoe or Sensei Taylor during the week of the grading.
Access to CSE facilities is subject to the terms of the University CSE. Non-members of the CSE may buy special membership to access the University facilities for attending Edinburgh University sports clubs' classes only. The EUSKC does not have any control over these charges. Session 2009-2010 cost is £45 for students.
